Arbour House
Arbour House is an unpaid voluntary respite project, providing weekend and summer holiday care for young adults with a learning disability. This offers guests a short holiday and their parents and siblings a much needed break and peace of mind.  When staying in the house, guests enjoy a variety of outings and social activities. There is also a small club during the week and, once a year, everyone goes on holiday together.

The Management work closely with Volunteer Now, who introduce volunteers to the house and assist in training and induction. Volunteers must be 18 years and over. They bring enthusiasm, energy and giftedness to the project. The volunteers must commit themselves for at least a year to ensure continuity in the house.  The house is registered with the RQIA and is inspected by them at least twice a year.
