Sisters contribute to and receive from the parish community by getting involved in parish-based ministries and organisations which enliven liturgies and enhance the life of the people.
Some are chaplains in Nursing Homes while others train the church choir, sing or play the organ.

Armagh Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes
Accompanying invalids on an overseas pilgrimage is a mammoth task and requires incalculable organisation and preparation. The work is demanding and goes on year-round, intensifying as the time of pilgrimage approaches. A Sister generously gives of her time, talents and nursing skills in volunteering to assist in this work.
