Praying for and with others is a hallmark of Mercy. As part of the parish programme parents are encouraged to participate in private, family and liturgical prayer. Symbols e.g. candles and icons are introduced as well as more practical guidelines such as prayer cards – a very useful means of facilitating engagement at family level.
