About the role
We are seeking a diligent Property Coordinator to lead, plan and coordinate the management of our property portfolio across the Southern counties. You will work closely with the Southern Branch Leadership Team to ensure our buildings and lands are safe, compliant and aligned to best practice in stewardship.
This is an 18-month contract.
Key responsibilities
- To continue to develop and deliver a proactive maintenance programme across multiple sites.
- Oversee statutory and legal compliance for land and property (inspections, certifications, records).
- Coordinate procurement for property-related works and services; manage contractors and suppliers.
- Liaise with legal professionals on title, leases, disposals and related matters.
- Prepare clear reports, plans and budgets for the Leadership Team; track works and costs.
- Support decisions on usage and disposal of buildings/land, ensuring due process and value for money.
- Maintain accurate asset registers and documentation.
- Liaise with the Property Management Advisory group when required.
Essential criteria
- 3–5 years’ experience in facilities/property management or administration.
- Demonstrated ability to manage contractors, liaise with solicitors, and oversee compliance.
- Strong organisation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Full, clean driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.
Desirable
- Experience in the charity/faith/education/health sector or multi-site portfolios.
- Knowledge of public procurement principles and H&S/compliance frameworks.
- Proficiency with property/asset management systems and MS Office.
