Ireland, Kenya, United States and United Kingdom and are among the many countries that celebrate Father’s Day in June, acknowledging fathers and their influence in our lives.

Pope Francis often reflected on parents and parenthood, reminding us of the gift of life that comes from our parents, the richness of the gift of parenthood, and the task of parents “to create the favorable conditions for the harmonious and full growth of their children so that they can live a good life, worthy of God and constructive for the world.”

Today, let us give thanks and enjoy the gift of life we have been given.
