God of all time, Source of all life,
From the rising of the sun to its setting we give you praise.
As 2024 closes its eyes we send you a heartfelt Thank You

For the wonder of the seasons in colour, sound and rhythm
We give you thanks

For your presence with us in sorrow and in pain, in war and in peace
We give you thanks

For the light of the star in the darkest night freeing us from fear and despair
We give you thanks

For the people who walked with us through the days and through the year
Loving us, carrying us, forgiving us
We give you thanks

For the people we were able to help with kindness, attention and presence
Sharing joy and pain
We give you thanks

For the valuable lessons of this year calling us back to the universal communion, to the bond of connection
We give you thanks

For the deeper global vision emerging from the blindness and madness of war
We give you thanks

For you, our God, our Forever Friend, the heartbeat of our lives
We give you thanks

We stand before the calendar of 2025 with abiding trust in your divine providence, in mutual partnership and love.
