In Baggot Street on March 9th Vocations Ireland hosted the Irish Book Launch of “God’s Call is Everywhere: A Global Analysis of Contemporary Religious Vocations for Women.” It was more than a book launch and it went beyond mere analysis of the current reality of religious vocations.  Fruitful discussions took place and rich insights were shared which gave hope and inspiration. While it was acknowledged that in some places interest in religious vocation was decreasing while in other places religious life continues to attract many young people.  There was a lot of life and energy in exploring different ways of connecting with younger people and newer members who are searching and seeking meaningful ways to live their lives in committed service. The experience of the day invited us to be bolder in sharing the story and charism of our various congregations.
