Pope Francis has issued Laudate Deum which is a follow up to Laudate Si. In this Apostolic Exhortation he is calling all people to more positive action as the world nears the “breaking point”. This letter from Pope Francis translates in English to “Praise God” and the Pope reminds us again that reverence for our common home is inseparable from our Christian faith. The Exhortation ends with the words”… for when human beings claim to take God’s place, they become their own worst enemies.”
