As we bring Segment Two of Mercy Global Presence to conclusion, Sr. Sheila Curran, Congregational Co-Ordinator for MGP, shares some updates with us from  a recent Conference Call with the Coordinators and Guiding Team of MGP:

 Updates

Posters for Segment Two: As we have come to end of Segment Two, Summary Posters will be available once again.  I have attached a link to the first poster along with a guide to enable the reflective process.

A New Time: At the meeting we discussed how we might be more creative in the use of posters this time.

We will have two flip books as a result of the Mercy Segment.  So perhaps we could use this material to look back on the experience of COVID-19 – which has produced a radical shift in our context since we began the MGP process.

Revisit Segment One: Perhaps people would like to revisit the posters from the Global Segment (September – December 2019) given what we have lived/experienced, personally, globally, as a congregation or institute since then? ‘

Elizabeth Davis suggested the following “What life experience has touched me or touched us that, now helps me look at those four posters from Global – Segment One  and those four posters from Mercy  – Segment Two with new eyes and ears of the heart, that cause me to find new nourishment, new energy, new hope ?

International Zoom Sessions: At our meeting we also discussed the possibility of having International Zoom Sessions focusing on the posters/flip books.  These sessions would be organised across different time zones.  They would be open anyone who wishes to participate in them from around the Mercy world.  The sessions would be no longer than an hour.  The Guiding Team are meeting to discuss this suggestion and I will send out the details once I receive them.

The flip book will be published on 9th September
