While we are all coping with so much change in the face of the pandemic, we cannot forget that children’s worlds have been turned upside down. While some children could be faced with grieving in a more distant way for their loved ones who may have passed on, others are facing difficulty in their home circumstances or coping with the loss of normality – seeing their friends or going to school. Sr. Helen Culhane is the Founder and Director of the Children’s Grief Centre in Limerick. They have been around for 11 years now, and help children cope with loss and the separation of parents.
