Inspired by the Gospel and the vision of Catherine McAuley, the Mercy Centre provides an environment of peace and tranquility where persons from all walks of life are welcomed and find hospitality, spirituality, caring and healing.

SPIRITUALITY
We provide a quiet space where people can reflect on the meaning of life and find the God within themselves and in all of life and creation. We offer reflections for Advent, Lent, Easter and Pentecost. We invite people to explore different forms of prayer including:

  • Days of quiet reflection
  • Dance Meditation
  • Prophetic Voices in past times and today’s world
  • How our dreams speak to us
  • Mindfulness
  • Bible Study

SOCIAL JUSTICE
A Justice group meets once a month to raise our awareness on current issues like:

  • Homelessness
  • Refugees
  • Human Trafficking
  • Sustainable Living
  • Climate Change
  • Budget

PERSONAL ENRICHMENT
We aim to empower people to enrich their lives by exploring different mediums. Areas covered include:

  • Self-Support and healing
  • Yoga
  • Massage
  • The Gift of ageing
  • Relieving stress in our lives
  • Bereavement and Loss

WHERE WE ARE
The Mercy Centre is located in the ground floor of the Convent of Mercy, Coolock House, St Brendan’s Drive, Coolock, Dublin 5, D05 K7F1. The Centre has been in operation since 1988, it can accommodate 30 adults and is non-residential.
