The World Meeting of Families took place in the RDS (Royal Dublin Society) from August 21st to 26th and MECPATHS were one of the exhibitors. One of their main aims was to bring MECPATHS to the notice of many new supporters and they certainly achieved that.

They also held a workshop on Thursday 23rd August on Human Trafficking: ‘An Open Wound On The Body Of Contemporary Society’. The Keynote speaker was Kevin Hyland OBE who was joined by ‘Maya’ a survivor of Child Trafficking who shared her experiences and how they moulded her adult life.
Approximately 700 people attended this workshop so it was a great success for MECPATHS and a tribute to the hard work of the MECPATHS team!
