Meaning: Our lives rise from the ashes

Biodanza meaning to dance life, is a fusion of music, movement and feelings that aim to reawaken the innate peace and joy that is humanity’s birthright. It is a scientifically proven method of Personal development aimed at deepening ones levels of happiness and health.

For many people it is the perfect antidote to the isolation and separation that has become so common in our modern society.

Biodanza is practiced all over Europe and South America and it is an experience not to be missed. It is essentially a system of human integration and growth involving the use of specific inspirational music and movement to create a transforming experience in the person. This transformation involves a deep connection with our sacred humanity which happens through positive interaction with others through music and movement.

From a passionate desire to humanise medicine and help get away from the stereotype of the sick patient and to enable peoples instincts to be reborn, Rolando Toro Arenada, created a system using the universal language of music. He called this system Biodanza.

Because movement stimulated by the emotions has a profound effect on our biology, and in fact on our whole lives.  Biodanza is a very simple dance technique that works with the vital connection with life that is so natural when we face our life from our hearts. It uses inspirational music from around the world, as a pathway of discovering oneself through dances/movements integrated with our feelings that help open the doors to who we really are.

Biodanza is the recovering of the joy of life and the human encounter. It promotes a higher quality of life and enables people to reach a deeper sense of happiness.  Biodanza is for everyone and you don’t need to have any previous dance experience.
