It is filled with many hours of daily work. Often hazardous work. 71% of child labour happens in agriculture. They farm, they herd livestock, they work in the forests, or in the sea. Their right to safe childhood and education are compromised. Without education, these boys and girls are likely to remain poor. Their families and communities trapped in the cycle of poverty and hunger. This must stop.
