Villa Maria is situated in the Westlands area of Nairobi at the inception of the road to Nakuru and the north of the country. When this property was purchased in the 1960’s it was virtually in the country. Now it is neighbour to high rise developments, shopping centres and busy thoroughfares. Even so the setting retains something of its original green and tranquil nature. The original house is now a hospitality house and home to the Sister in charge of hospitality, the Treasurer for the Province and a Sister working in a supportive role to a school for the deprived. Many visitors pass through and the Sisters from the country often stay here when they come to the city for business.
