Parish/Diocesan Ministry

St. Michael’s Church, Enniskillen

Sisters are pastoral ministers in various parishes, being involved in the sacramental programmes of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist, working with both children and parents.

One Sister works in the Manorhamilton pastoral area.   Sisters are ministers of the Word and the Eucharist, are members of parish planning committees, and are involved in the visitation of the sick and the bereaved.

One Sister helps with the Faith and Light Programme, a Christian movement, bringing together people with learning disabilities and their families and friends.

A number of Sisters bring experience to and are members of Boards of Management of schools and various organisations. Duties include chairing the Finance Committee, being part of an interview board, representing WELB (Western Education and Library Board).

Killyhommon Primary School

Lough Derg, a diocesan penitential site, is served by one Sister as a member of the Counselling Team.

One Sister works in the Marriage Tribunal, helping those who have experienced difficulties in their marriage.
