My name is Sr. Brenda Dolphin. I am a Sister of Mercy and work as the Postulator for the Cause of Catherine McAuley. Catherine was declared venerable on the 9th April 1990. Once this happened the work of the cause moved to what is called the Roman phase. Sr Anne Hannon works as Vice-Postulator for the cause of Catherine McAuley. This means that she promotes the awareness of the life, vision and virtues of Catherine among Sisters of Mercy as well as among members of the public. We hope that one day Catherine McAuley will be canonised a saint. More>>


Canonisation Committee - making Catherine known and loved

A new committee, the Canonisation Committee, has been set up to assist Sr. Anne Hannon, Vice-Postulator for the Cause of Catherine McAuley, in her work.
